As a third generation farmer, Sal knew that to survive in the trade, he had to add value to his commodities. In the early 1980s, they began manufacturing value added products focusing on providing fresh produce, wet salads, soups and entrees for the food service and retail sectors in the northeastern U.S. Together, the Tedesco Family expanded and created many value added products that received exceptional brand recognition within the market place.
Through the development of many proprietary products and processes; the Tedesco’s became best known in the industry for their cutting-edge approach to manufacturing and innovation.
