Safeway Distributors / Logistics
Safeway Distributors owns, operates, and maintains its own trucking fleet. Eleven tractors, 19 refrigerated trailers, 10 dry vans, and 6 flatbed trailers – located at our Vineland, New Jersey facility – provide same-day service throughout the Mid-Atlantic and expeditious service outside the region.
TWIC and Sealink-approved drivers access New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania ports, giving us access to global markets as well as those in our own southern New Jersey backyard.
Safeway also has a licensed, in house freight broker, Safeway Logistics, which further extends the Cold Chain from our southern New Jersey facility to regional and national markets.
