Amy has over twenty-three years of experience in the food industry focused on business development, customer service and problem-solving strategies. She worked for 13 years for Missa Bay, where she started out as the Customer Service Manager and advanced into Missa Bay’s Business Development Director. Throughout her career, Amy was exposed to all different facets of the operation and worked cross-functionally with both key customer accounts and internal team members on projects. Amy’s ability to understand processes and the different facets of the business, combined with her attention to detail, have made her an asset in project planning, management, documentation, implementation, and training.
Amy was an integral part in outlining and implementing the sales and marketing strategic direction of the Swedesboro based company. Amy focused her efforts with a group of individuals on the Business Development Team and oversaw their customer partnership development. She directly interacted with key accounts such as McDonald’s, Wawa and Ahold. Her focus on these business segments and work with the team contributed to double digit growth for the company. Amy’s years of contribution to key programs and processes where instrumental in growing this company as a Customer-Focused Quality organization.
Amy joined the Safeway Group as Vice President of Business Development. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in customer relationship management and business development. Her duties include working cross functional with the team to evolve the Safeway model; product and service portfolio; and to develop customer relationships. Her passion for the business is infectious and she fosters an enthusiastic team environment.
Amy currently resides in Rosenhayn, New Jersey with her husband, Bob, and son, Bobby. She loves spending her free time with family and friends and enjoys Pilates, the beach and baking.
