Bill’s career has been entirely spent in Vineland, New Jersey, and in the food service industry, beginning in 1971, when he entered the local Green Giant Company operation as a Fork-lift Operator and Shift Supervisor. In 1985, he left Green Giant for the Pillsbury Company. He was employed as a Warehouse Manager until leaving Pillsbury in 1990 to join East Coast Refrigerated Storage, where he was employed until 1998.
He has worked for Safeway Freezer Storage since 1998 and continues to serve there as Warehouse Manager as part of Safeway’s new management team. Bill’s current responsibilities include effective and efficient storage, sanitation and inventory control for the facility’s nearly 7-million cubic feet of combined freezer and refrigerated storage, supporting food producers and finished-goods processors throughout the U.S.
A native of Pittsgrove Township in southern New Jersey, he lives with his wife, Judy.
